Attendance

1. As regular attendance is an important element for success, written application for leave must invariably submitted.

2. In case of sickness or other unforeseen circumstances, the student returning to the school must show the teacher in-charge, their regularity record duly signed by the parent and Principal, before they enter the class.

3. Every student must be present at the re-opening day of the school after Summer,Christmas,Easter and Puja Vacations.

4. The names of those students who do not turn up within 3 days of the opening in March and after Vacations without any prior notification will be automatically removed from the rolls. If a student continues to be absent without leave for 8 working days in succession, her/his name will be struck off from the register, in which case he/she will have to apply for re-admission and will be charged re-admission fee. Re-admission will be at the discretion of the principal.

5. A medical certificate must be produced for absence due to a contagious illness.

6. Every student is expected to be present at the morning assembly.

7. Late comers and absentees from the school will not be admitted to their respective classes without the principal's signature on the leave note.

8. No leave of absence is granted without a prior written application signed by the parents and only for authentic reasons. The school accepts no responsibility if a student is obliged to return home during school hours for non- compliance of any of the rules. Mere sending of an application is not sufficient. Leave has to be sanctioned.

9. If a student does not have at least 75% attendance of the total number of the working days, he/she will not be considered for promotion and will not be allowed to appear for ICSE Board Exams. We do encourage students to have full attendance.
